A Celtic Folklore Evening - Saturday 12th December
We are delighted to announce that we are welcoming back a trio of wonderful entertainment to perform at The Old Mill on Saturday 12th December. Some of you may well remember we had these artists performing on our re-launch evening and went down a storm.
We have Stevie Dewar the piper who, during his non-competitive piping career, has performed in front of sell out crowds in the Stade De France, Paris, the opening of the Scottish Parliament, for the British Team at the 2004 Olympics in Athens through to being invited to play at JK Rowlings 40th Birthday Party. He is accompanied by Scott Stevenson the accordionist, who achieved 3rd place in the national championships this year. His style is very much about taking the ancient instrument of the accordion and presenting it in a new light. He is known as the man with the "electric fingers".
The beauties in the line up are Catherine O'Hallaran...who's haunting voice will send shivers down your spine and Kathleen Graham, one of the very best Clarsachist players in Scotland but who also performs the most incredible Gaelic mouth music.
Do not miss this evening....we kick things off at 9pm....and will run through till late.
Make sure if you want to dine beforehand you call in advance to book.
See you there!
